This page will describe the management of our web site, with specific reference to the personal data processing of the users that visit us.

IP Address

Our Website and the analytic tools mentioned in this privacy policy are using your IP Address. The IP address is a worldwide unique sing of numbers which is assigned to you by your internet service provider. In its currently most common form (IPv4), the IP address is composed of four dot-separated number blocks. In most cases you will not have a permanent IP address, which will only temporarily assigned to you by your internet service provider (so-called “dynamic IP address”). In a permanently assigned IP addresses (so-called “static IP address”) a clear allocation of user data is possible more easily, as the address is not changing.

Our website already supports the new IPv6 addresses. If you already have an IPv6 address, you should additionally note the following: The IPv6 address consists of eight blocks of four characters. Typically, the first four blocks are assigned to private users dynamically. The last four blocks of an IPv6 address (the so-called. “Interface Identifier”) are, however, determined by your device, which you are using to browse on the website. If this is not set differently in your operating system, the Interface Identifier is identical to the MAC address. The MAC address is a serial number that is uniquely assigned to each IP-enabled device. Therefore, we do not store the last four blocks of your IPv6 address. In general, we recommend that you enable the so called “Privacy Extensions” at your device. Most operating systems provide a Privacy-Extensions-Function which anonymizees the last four blocks of your IPv6 address. However, the “Privacy Extensions” feature is not preset in some cases.

Personal data voluntarily provided by the users

We inform you that that in certain sections of the Website you can send personal information (for example email address, name, phone number); the transmission of such data is done on a spontaneous, explicit and voluntary basis. In particular, the registration to the Website, as well as the spontaneous, explicit and voluntary sending e-mail messages to the addresses mentioned on this Website or through the contact form on the Website entails acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary in order to reply to any request, as well as of any additional personal data as is contained in the messages.
