DOCOMO Digital enables Huawei App Gallery carrier billing for Vodafone Turkey
16 JUNE, Istanbul
DOCOMO Digital, the world’s preeminent mobile commerce platform, has enabled direct carrier billing for Huawei App Gallery for Vodafone Turkey.
Carrier billing is an increasingly popular mode of payment for digital services especially in emerging markets across the Middle East region, as it allows faster and frictionless transactions in App stores such as Huawei App Gallery while providing better transparency and control over purchases for subscribers. Digital content consumption has been on a steady rise in Turkey. Huawei App Gallery is the third-largest app store globally with over 400 million users. Huawei had recently unveiled the new Harmony OS after having committed US$1 billion dollars to attract app developers to the App Gallery.
“We are pleased to see our partnerships with both Vodafone Turkey and with Huawei grow from strength to strength. Our state-of-the-art managed service platform is purpose-built to make integrations with app stores such as Huawei App Gallery happen for our telco partners quickly and reliably, reducing the effort needed from internal teams.”
Chief Commercial Officer at DOCOMO Digital.
