DOCOMO Digital appoints John Snoek as the Chief Product Officer to double down on expansion in payments
4 February, London
DOCOMO Digital, NTT DOCOMO’s international payments’ business, announced the appointment of John Snoek as Chief Product Officer, responsible for the entire product portfolio and development of new payment products and commercial launches. Mr. Snoek will be a part of the senior leadership team, reporting to the CEO. DOCOMO Digital has been recognised as the Platinum Carrier Billing Provider for 2021 by Juniper Research today.
John joins DOCOMO Digital from Payvision, where he served as CPO, responsible for product, operations, and data science. John was also responsible for Acapture, an omnichannel PSP he launched in 2015, recently acquired by ING Bank. Prior to Payvision, John led global marketing and product at GlobalCollect, now part of Worldline. With over twenty-five years of experience in digital product businesses, John has also been a consultant to the Dutch government on ecommerce strategy.
“It is very exciting to join the DOCOMO Digital team at this point in their long history in payments. I especially look forward expanding our global payments platform with payment products, value-added services, and data driven solutions and of course to build out DOCOMO Digital’s leading direct carrier-billing proposition. At the heart of everything we do and create is an unbeatable customer experience.”

“John joins us at interesting inflection point in our journey as a payments business, as we expand beyond our core in direct carrier billing to build a platform that aggregates both conventional and alternative payment methods, with a focus on simplifying the complexities of different regions for merchants looking to expand globally. His rich experience in building payment products including a PSP will be a vital asset to our endeavors."
