London – Mobile commerce enabler DOCOMO Digital will attend The Retail & eCommerce Directors’ Forum on April 25th at the Belfry Hotel in Birmingham.
Mariella Bucci, Business Development Manager UK, and Sophie Bono, Head of Sales France and Benelux, will be at the event to meet with decision makers at UK retailers to discuss DOCOMO Digital’s range of innovative payment services and its capabilities to distribute in the UK retail market.
According to the research firm Statista, in the UK the average transaction value for digital payments is predicted to nearly quadruple by 2021, so getting the most out of a digital audience is going to become even more important for UK merchants in the next few years.
Mariella Bucci, said: “In Japan, more than 50% of all e-commerce transactions are made on mobile devices using operator billing methods. In Europe, we are already seeing changes in the way consumers buy and sell goods using mobile devices. But not all of these purchases are able to be paid by carrier billing. With our experience in the Japanese market, we are well positioned to nevertheless provide the expertise, technology and additional methods of payment services to enable UK retailers to drive growth through m-commerce.”
The Retail & eCommerce Directors’ Forum is an annual event which gives senior retail professionals access to new ideas, solutions and innovations to help take their departments and companies forward.
