Jonathan or “JK” as he prefers being addressed as, joined DOCOMO Digital as the Chief Transformation Officer in June’2018, and was appointed as the CEO effective 1st April, 2019. Prior to working with DOCOMO Digital, Jonathan served as CEO of another NTT DOCOMO group entity – DOCOMO Pacific, based in Guam. Jonathan has worked with Vodafone group and First Pacific in the past. With over three decades of cross-functional leadership experience across both the developed and developing markets in the telecom industry, Jonathan brings deep expertise especially in shaping strategy, developing new markets and cross-border M&A with a focus on growth in the emerging markets. Jonathan graduated from Pomona College in Claremont CA and completed his MBA from The Wharton School with a specialization in Strategy and Finance. JK is passionate about making a meaningful difference in underserved communities in the emerging markets.

Jonny leads all commercial activities including product, sales, marketing and delivery. Jonathan joins DOCOMO Digital from Cashflows, a European fintech, where he served as the Chief Commercial Officer. He brings deep expertise in scaling payments’ businesses, having previously held leadership roles with American Express, Travelex, MasterCard and Kalixa, with more than eighteen years of experience in the industry.
As a member of DOCOMO Digital’s board along with Jonathan, Hideki leads strategy. Prior to joining DOCOMO Digital in July’19, Hideki led the healthcare services at NTT DOCOMO. Hideki had been a part of the global business department, the international division of NTT DOCOMO for over eleven years. Hideki has also served on the board of Hutchison Telecom in Hong Kong. He graduated from Keio University in Tokyo and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA program at the London Business School.
Simone was appointed as the SVP finance in the year 2020 and leads the finance function at DOCOMO Digital. Simone has served as the CFO of net mobile AG, before it was acquired by DOCOMO Digital, and as the regional CFO for the GSA (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) region prior to her appointment as the head of the finance function. Simone has worked closely with the commercial team and DOCOMO Digital’s telco and merchant partners to develop innovative business models.
Keeley joined DOCOMO Digital in February 2020 as the SVP HR and leads the human resources function. Keeley served as the Head of HR at MoneyGram International before joining DOCOMO Digital. A British national, Keeley has espoused an international outlook, having been raised in New Zealand where she began her professional journey with Telecom Directories. She has since held HR leadership roles across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East, leading large HR transformation projects, working closely with leadership teams in driving meaningful business impact with people initiatives.
Chief Technology and Information Security Officer (CT&ISO)
Rodrigo leads Technology for the DOCOMO Digital Payments’ business. Rodrigo has over eighteen years of experience in the information technology and payments’ ecosystem with specialization in areas such as end-to-end service management, partner onboarding and 24X7 delivery support. Rodrigo is passionate about driving innovation and service excellence leveraging the Agile methodology. He graduated in Computer Science from the European University in Madrid, with a specialization in artificial intelligence.
Mark leads the Legal & Compliance functions and is also the Managing Director of DOCOMO Digital’s E-Money Institute in Liechtenstein. Mark has over ten years of experience in Corporate, IT & Payment law, and is an expert in mobile payments. He advises DOCOMO Digital’s businesses on all regulatory matters and supports the commercial teams during contractual negotiations. Mark graduated in law from the University of Düsseldorf, passed his first state exam at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf and the second state exam at the Ministry of Justice of North-Rhine Westfalia, Germany.
Luisa leads DOCOMO Digital’s business across Europe and Latin America. Luisa has over twelve years of experience in the mobile payments ecosystem and is responsible for partnering with our telco, merchant and payments partners in the regions. Luisa is an expert in the Latin American payments’ landscape and is passionate about helping telcos scale their digital services businesses. Luisa graduated in marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas and is currently pursuing an executive MBA from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in Sao Paulo.
Filippo leads DOCOMO Digital’s business across the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions. Filippo has been at the forefront of the evolving mobile commerce and payments ecosystem, with over sixteen years of experience in the space across Europe and Asia. Filippo is responsible for driving growth for DOCOMO Digital’s partners in the telecom, digital content and payments industries. Filippo received an MBA degree from SDA Bocconi School of Management, with a major in Marketing of Media and Entertainment from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
